Thinking about a VCH

Hi All,
I'm thinking about getting a VCH, and I'm new to this, so please pardon my ignorance...
How long should I wait to have intercourse after having this pierced?

about your specific question i dont know, i've never had experience in that subject. however if you are thinking about this piercing, and you dont know much about the subject you should follow a few steps.

1. get referred, find other people in the area you are in who have had experience with piercers and go to the ones who are said to be "good"
2. taking others word for it isnt enough, get their full name and shop and see if they are online. i think reviews posted at BME show up on google so you should be able to find out if they have badly pierced someone else.
3. dont jump into this piercing, it usually costs more than others and can seriously affect your life if its done wrong. make sure to look through their portfolio of piercings, if they dont have any in there of female genital piercings, then they either havent done them or dont want to show off the ones they have done. either way you shouldnt look into it.
4. sit down and talk with the piercer, tell them to write down the steps they will use in the piercing and if you are concerned bring them here and tell us, we will tell you if they are going to be doing it right.

i'm sure others on these forums have more information than i have. but this is what i would do if i were you. we just went through a bad ordeal with a poorly done VCH a week or so ago. I'd hate to hear of it happening again
