'flaky' tattoo?

Ok, I have 3 tatts, so I'm not 'new' to this, but this one's a bit more 'flaky' since having it done. *By flaky I mean the skin is flaking more, its not quite 7 days old, is this normal?

Yeah, it's pretty normal for the top layer of skin to flake off. *Are you keeping it moisturized?

Yes I am, fairly religiously. *I just wanted to make sure something else wasn't 'awry'.

Nope, it should be fine, the top layer of skin that's full of the extra ink always peels/flakes off. *Just make sure you're not peeling it or anything, let it fall off on it's own, it sounds like it's healing normally!
