how can i convince someone from not getting inked

my G/F wants me to sign for her to get a tattoo but i dont really want her to get one. because i have a feeling that she is wanting to get my initials or somthing like that and if we were to break up then what would she do. i dont want to sound like a hipocrit because im going to get one when i get the cash but ive thought about what i want for a very long time and its somthing that i wont regret such as someones name or what ever else any suggestions would be great

shes not 18 yet so she needs some one 18 or older *to sign for to get ink in this case she wants me to be that somone im 18

um, i believe a parent or gaurdian needs to sign it, not a boyfriend.

thats usually the case but im my area u can get away with it if u say your a family member in most cases other than the areas of the body (pubic area and what not)

If the shop that your going to is willing to "bend" the rules. *What else will the do.
Easiest way to do this is DON'T SIGN. *
At our shop the last names have to be the same on both id's. *Keeps everyone out of trouble

...yeh. If a shop is willing to bend the rules on age and who signs, what ELSE do they bend rules on? Sanitation?

i dont know of any shops for sure just heard that ppl have gotten away with it by lying to the artest and stuff

Besides, lying on a legal document is illegal. *And maybe you should just *ASK* her what tattoo she plans on getting instead of guessing?

think about it like this...will her parents not kill you if you signed for her. And as it has been said before, no self respecting artist or shop will allow you to sign for her anyway.
