how in the world do you get the balls off the belly barbells? They are so tiny and imposible to unscrew! Can someone please help?

Be careful so as not to tear the hole. Find a way to get a good grip ( Gloves are good if you have greasy/sweaty hands ) Use one hand to hold the barbell, and make sure it doesn't flip backwards, if that happens it will pinch and smart a bit, but if you do it too hard it will tear. Once you have a good grip and have it steady, use your other hand to take off the ball that unscrews ( Some barbells have only one ball that comes off, but normally either/or will come off. ) It could be cross-threaded or just screwed really tight...If you can't do it yourself, go to a piercer and see if they can't do it.

I actually made my own tool for removing beads and spikes that wont scratch or mar the finish. I took a needlenose plier, and dipped the tips in a product called "Liquid Grip". It is sold at most hardware stores for about $5 for 12 ounces or so. It is a liquid rubber that cures when exposed to air. Also comes in yellow, red, blue and black *:mrgreen:
As soon as the curing process is complete, you can use them to twist off any stubborn bead or spike! I have made about 8 of them for my friends. And also when youre done, youll have 11.75 ounces of multicolor liquid rubber to coat anything in!
Hope that is of some help

And let's not forget ---
* * RIGHTy Tighty
* * LEFTy Loosey
My girls had a hard time remembering which way to turn things to tighten and loosen them.
Or UN-loosen as my youngest calls it.
Hmmm isn't *UN*loosen the same as tighten? ;-P

Thank you very much for the advice. The needlenose pliers sound like a great idea and I'll probably try that. As for scooter yes UN- loosen is the same as tighten lol.

make sure you coat them in the rubber! It would be a shame to scratch up some nice jewelry!
