Hi, I hope this is not a repost (I've searched the forum with no results).
I have a horse shoe piercing, and am having difficulty removing it. It is 14 gauge and I cannot remember if it is internally or externally threaded, but I have had it pierced since April 2001. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Nevermind, turns out I'm very weak. A piercer helped me take it off with what looked like no trouble.
