I keep getting this message and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. My photos are on photobucket. Here's the message I'm getting:
Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 127
Command:
"/usr/local/bin/mogrify" -size 100x66 -quality 70 -geometry 100x66 '/home/pictures/public_html/data/517/107058DSC_0041-thumb.JPG'

I think that means the pictures are too big. But I'm not sure, I'm not too knowledgable into that kinda thing. Scooter would be able to tell ya

It's the bracketed file name as you found out > [ ] <
Using that style you don't need to click on the "image" button to place an image. Just paste the file name (path) in and it's good to go.

Scooter,
Thanks for the help, but I'm its still not working for me. I know this should be easy.
In the Field called Photo To Upload, what do I put in there? I've been pasting in the name / path of the file on my hard disk C:\My Documents\Pictures\DSC_0041.JPG Correct?
And on the Field called URL of page to parse images from: I've been pasting in the link from Photo Bucket: the one that starts [IMG]http://i132 etc etc. Correct?
Many thanks,
JayJay

Look for a PM from me and we'll see if we can figure it out together.
I have been getting this message too...
Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 127
Command:
"/usr/local/bin/mogrify" -size 100x66 -quality 70 -geometry 100x66 '/home/pictures/public_html/data/506/106663MJBT003-thumb.JPG'
I have tried everything i can think of possible...i.e. Different Sizes, URL and still the same. I even downloaded someone elses pic, copied mine over the top in Photo Impact and resaved it so it was the same size. And still got the error message.
Any more ideas, as i have been trying for over a week now...
Thanks

OK class is in session
Everyone pull up a chair and sit on the floor.
In the Gallery, Log-In the click Upload photos
make sure you user name is listed
select a catagory to UL to. (if you make a mistake lemme' know and I'll try to move it.)
Photo to UL. = this is used IF the pic is on your machine. By clicking "choose" you can navigate to the pic on your HardDrive and select it.
Url of page to parse image from = Use this place ONLY if you need to UL your pic from a Photo-Host site like PhotoBucket, Flickr, etc.
Do you want to be notified = self explanitory, pick one, you can change it later if you wish.
Click Submit. This will take you to another page where you can fill in info about your pic, etc. Then click submit again.
That should do it. If you keep getting the error, try scaling your photo down a bit. I don't recall offhand what or IF there are size restrictions. I'll check later. It's late and I'm bushed.
See if that works, IF not Private Message me and I'll see what else we can do.

Well, I'll tell you all that it's NOT YOU!
I just tried to UL a pic of my GrandDaughters nose piercing and got the same error message.
hang in there and I'll set the powers that be on this prob and see if we can get it cleared up asap. Painful just recently installed new board softwre and thought that we had all the bugs worked out. Uh ... oops! Sorry!
I'll PM you two and also post here when we get it figured out. Thanx for your understanding on this. Drat, technology fails us again. *grin*
