Got my first surface piercing yeserday. How long does it usually take to get used to. I see me broadening my shoulders all the time and it feels so weird. Looks really nice tho.

How long does it usually take to get used to.

There is no definitive answer for that. It's the same as posing the question, "how bad does it hurt to get X pierced?"

The answer is: it is subjective and differs from person to person.

yeh im starting to get used to it. The first 2 nights were so weird and kept waking me up but now im pretty normal again. PLease tell me if anything looks wrong. IT seems that the two holes are a little red but its 2 days old so i suppose thats normal.

i'm guess ing it's the angle of the pic that makes the piercing look crooked... umm the bar that was used looks like a long semi curved bar, i think that chances are not if your favour of keeping it in there for long, i have had my nape does a few times u will get stiff neck and sholders for about 1-2 weeks, then should be fine... but i wouldconsider taking it out and getting them to re pierce it with a proper surface bar

its actually healing pretty nicely right now and im used to it. and the barbel he used was jus like this one:
