Ok Well to some Feb 24 seems a wile off but for me it is fast approaching kinda and for my 16th birthday i was going to take all my birthday money and buy this tattoo kid from PP as well as more practice skins and other supplies and i was wondering if anyone would advise for or against it

My story why i want it

Tattoos have always fascinated me and so id like to try my hand in it im not "artist" i cant draw beautiful works of art but im really good at following out lines and coloring in the lines and shading yes i realized tattooing is greatly different from coloring with pencils but i figure if i at least get some what decent at doing flash tattoos i can go to the local tattoo shop and apprentice and get better and then maybe do some minor tattoos for people and A big thing

1.NO I DON'T PLAN TO TATTOO MY SELF OR MY FRIENDS TILL I APPRENTICE OR A TATTOO ARTIEST SAYS IM GOOD ENOUGH TO

I don't think they let you apprentice at 16. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

And if you're not sure what you are doing, then don't train yourself in a manner that could be totally wrong.

Having been in the tattoo bus for a couple of years (20plus) please do it the correct way. get an apprenticeship and then get equiptment. While you say you won't tattoo your friends or yourself the temptation to do a little one is very strong. There are alot of tattoo's out there that should never have been done and are very difficult to repair or redo.
