Hi there, my Name is Sarah I am 24 year old college student from Columbia,MO I have been considering getting two angel's wings on my back at some point in the near future. I have never gotten any tattoos so this would be my first. I sadly can't do this any time too soon just cuz I still live at home with my mother and she would have a total cow if I was do this while still living with her.
I did want some info on just how thing might go in general anything I should look for in particular shop that kind of thing.
Also I was hoping to get some advise, I do want get these but I don't really want something too huge since I am considering going into teaching and would like to have something I could easily cover up in a conservative outfit if I need too. So I was just looking for advise on what would a good size range to be looking at be? and would it make a difference as to just where I placed them on my back either? any advise would be great thanks!

Hey! I'm in KS, and I'm going into teaching, too!
For a shop... make sure they are clean. I cannot stress this enough. Also, ask to see portfolios, and even better, ask around- do you see people with ink that you really like that looks good? Ask them where they got it!
When you're there, make sure everything they use is clean. Rule #1, though, is that if you don't feel comfortable at any time, GET OUT!
If a tattoo is on your back, then chances are anything "conservative" you wear will cover it up. Just don't get it too high on your neck, and you should be fine.

I was thinking of just going out with the BF and checking out places in town that seem like good quality places and just check out what kind of works they already had as far as their scrap books go. Do you have any recommendations in the KC or KS area? hmm I am thinking that instead of just doing two angel wings maybe get one as like demonic angel wing and the other as normal angel wing..kind of that whole dark and light thing...what do you think? I actually have a friend of mine that is an artist I am wondering if I can ask him to do a job for me to draw this up for me? it would be cool to have some I know and trust help me with this.
Thanks for the advise I will let you know how things go as I do more research

in my opinion i think that maybe if you want something on the smaller side then prehaps you should get the whole angel with wings, or the wings laid out like feathers that have come off from a bird and just laying there. because the back is so large small wings just dont sit right. but hey thats just my opinon
