I've heard of that before actually. I remember reading somewhere about some kind of scandal with them taking people's money and then not doing anything for them, but I don't know, I haven't done a whole lot of research about it either.

What's the point? I spend all day with a bunch of people who also work in an office....hmmmm.........I can see it now, "Church of disgruntled graphic designers!"

I read up on it once, and it looked kind of dodgy. Plus... why would it be a "religion"? I don't know. It's weird.

Mouse, I thought you didn't have any beliefs? If you join this bogus church, then you are admitting beliefs. I believe in gods, just different ones than the mainstream Christian public. I get asked all kinds of questions and looked at differently all the time. You think it bothers me? No. I don't cave in to a religion I don't believe in. I was forced to believe in one as a kid. Now, I make up my own mind. And yes, as my name says, I am an ordained minister.
Why do you need a church to tell you body mods are okay? Are you insecure about them? If they feel right to you, why let anyone tell you otherwise. I know your parents are against them. My dad didn't like my ears when I had them done. I was 23 at the time and living on my own. He accepts them as part of me. I didn't go looking for his approval. I did it because I wanted to.
Sorry to get on a soapbox.
