Foot tat and shoes

In brief.....
I have a tattoo planned for the outer/top of my foot. Nothing huge, just some music notes scattered along music staff. I was wondering what to expect in healing time and how long after getting the tat it would be before I could wear a shoe. I teach dance, so I've got to really plan this one out......

I have both feet done and had to spend about 2 weeks with each one shoeless. My art worked out to where I could wear thong sandels. That was pretty nice. I ended up recoloring one foot in November - that was very cold and was glad I originally had them done early summer.

ahh, a fellow dancer!
i have a foot tattoo and healing went pretty well for me. i wore ballet flats during the healing period where it was most sensitive. my artist told me on the 5th day that if i kept the site clean with the a+d and a clean sock that everything would be fine with a normal shoe.

to teach dance what are you wearing?
capezio jazz sneakers or character shoes?
