Have been talking to my piercer Dave, from Little Vinnies, about new(to me anyway) methods of getting pierced...told me about micro dermal punches. Thought about it for a few weeks and would like to get punched above my left nostril piercing. Is there enough tissue to support that? Thanks.

youve got me kinda confused. micro dermal punch you like combined 2 things a micro dermal with is an implant and a dermal punch witch is taking out a chunk of skin with a tool kinda like a cookie cutter

but i think your talking about just micro dermal and no the average nose dosent have enough tissue to do a dermal punch it would be 2 shallow if you could even do it sence its all cartiage

i just re read it and if you mean above where your nostril piercing is and its upper like near the bridge it would be possible

Thanks for the reply... I was referring to the punch method of placing a micro dermal as opposed to the needle method. And yes, right about the bridge, slightly off centered. I figured with the small amount of movement in that area it would be better for the healing time.

I'm no expert on the technical aspects of microdermals, but I agree with mouse. Very doubtful that there's enough "meat" to accept and heal an anchor anywhere on the nose.
