i want to get one but i have some questions. does it cause damage to gums and teeth or this depends on the size of the ring? does it matter if my webbing is to low (when i was younger my orthodontist wanted to cut it)? does anyone have it?
tnx

webbing placement shouldn't make much of a difference, other than the fact that the jewelry might rub on your teeth and gums more. *this piercing can be very hard on your teeth and gums. *if you want to get it, go ahead...but do weekly checks on your teeth and gums to make sure your gums are not receeding and you're not damaging your teeth. *it's very important that you see your dentist regularly as well.

the amount of damage can be lessened by using smaller jewelry, but you'll stil be at high risk for teeth/gum damage.

Sometimes, it's good to take a photo of your teeth and gums once every month or two, and compare them. When/if you notice wear and damage, then you know that you need to remove the jewelry.

Talented and ingenious are the women who control these types of things.

I have been watching my gums because of my tongue rign and wish that i would have thought of the photo file.

Hey, it's never too late to start one. That way, you'll be able to reference to something.
