Nerve Damage?

Okay.

So i was reading Bird's description of her experiecne and the whole nerve thing"jumped"(ha) out at me.

I have nerve damage in my right arm.

As previously mentioned, the tattoo i want is to go between my shoulderblades. My sticks a livingand dying part of me. *Will the muscles on my back be affected, or will the image be correct, if i get the tattoo done before my nerves are completely healed?

hmm... i had temporary nerve damage in my thigh, and it was numb for the longest time, but after that while the nerve was finally healing, it was SUPER sensitive... I don't know how it would have reacted if i had been getting or healing a tattoo, but i know it would have been an ungodly, horrible torturing pain... *however, if you're still in the numb process, tattoos don't damage nerves whatsoever, so as long as you're not in the hurts-like-[heck] healing process, It shouldn't be a problem.

You'll have some twitching, but it won't hurt you anymore than it would a normal person. My back is incredibly messed up, but the tattoo didn't hurt it at all. The needle, which goes in a good distance, doesn't go in far enough to ever hit any nerves.

I just had some serious shock therapy flashbacks and didnt really want to do all that again.
