Ok, Ive had my nose pierced twice now, and the first time i had to take it out because of work, and came to find out that it had closed around the stud, and basically had to rip it out of my face. I got it pierced again, and for awhile, it left the hole nice and open so that i could change my stud, but has again closed around the stud and to be honest, im not up for tearing it out again. is there a way to reopen it without ripping it out, or do i bite the bullet and pull? and what exactly can i do to prevent this from happening again, so that i can freely change it?

What kind of stud are you talking about? A butter-fly back stud? A nose screw? A nose bone?

If you'd like to keep it and be able to remove the jewelry from time to time, you need to be wearing a nose screw or a CBR.

As for how to remove what you have ... it depends on what it is, and I would recommend going to your piercer.

Oh yea, i wear a nose stud, the lil bar with a ball on the end to keep it from fallin out.

It sounds like a nose bone, which are horrible inventions. There's really nothing you can do except get a piercer to cut it out.

And when you get repierced get a nose screw or a CBR.
