Need a retainer for my septum.

I'll most likely get an x-ray in two weeks and I'll probably have to take out my circular barbell.(must remember to put acrylic ball on PTFE barbell in my industrial) My septum was pierced in october so i could probably just take it for 15 minutes but I don,t really feel comfortable doing this. I'd prefer to change it at home. I was wondering what my options are. Quartz or glass retainer? Acrylic pincher?

No acrylic, if you can help it. I'd go for glass anyday.

Yeah I knwo acrylic isn't the best but it's only for an hour or so. I looked yesterday and I don,t think PP has glass.

If it's only for an hour or so, then you should be all right with acrylic, so long as you clean well!
