Help!!

I am going to pierc my belly botton at my birthday but i very worry about will the piercing change my body shape and i got a very sensitive belly botton. *please help!!! :(

What is it you want us to tell you? *I don't understand...

1. *No, the piercing won't change your body shape. *
2. You shouldn't pierce yourself if you don't know everything about it. *What kind of jewelry do you have in it? *Did you do it with a sterile needle? What kind of aftercare are you using? *

Also, if you are worried about getting pierced you should first find a shop and piercer that you are comfortable with. Go to a couple of different shops and ask to see some of the piercers work, pictures, and if possible talk to some people that have been pierced by them. You should also ask to see the areas of the shop that are for piercing. the shop should have a seprate area from the tatto area, and the entire shop should be very clean. It's not uncomonn for a tattoo and piercing shop to smell like a hospital. You should also ask to see thier autoclave (steralizer) and the spore test that show that the autoclave is working. As far as changing the shape of your body, I have never heard of this happening. Over time the piercing may migrate and not be perfectly straight, or it may grow out all together, but this is rare, and would still only leave a small scar.
