But I'm losing o-rings left and right. *Jewelry that has stayed in with no problems for months is suddenly coming out (o-ring and all) in my sleep, and the only way that makes sense is if I'm removing the o-rings in my sleep.
None of it makes any sense, I'm just really glad that I've been waking up and noticing that they're gone before they start to shrink shut very much, so I'm able to get the jewelry back in.
Overall, it's more just *weird* than problematic. *I have no idea why any of this is happening, or how to stop it! *I'm just lucky I have been able to find the jewelry, but I'm losing o-rings left and right, and I'm running out!

That is weird.
I've never lost an o-ring. Ever.
*knocks on wood*
I have noticed, however, that they get a bit looser with the time, especially if I play with them.
However, most of the people I know lose them all the time, so I think I'm the whacko in this case. *

Even ones that are 2 days old are coming off...I have no clue what's going on!

Where can I buy new o-rings once I start to run out? Especially clear ones that I know I'm gonna be using for my retainers? Feel free to PM me, too, with any suggestions. Sorry you keep losing yours, Jade, I'm sure I'll be joining you in complaining soon.

Ria, see, now you know why I'm a fan of dbl flares....otherwise, my whole paycheck would have to go for orings!
Of course, I awoke with my dbl flare out of my ear and on my pillow, so maybe it's time to let them shrink a bit....

Oooh. The clear ones rock!
I got some with my latest jewelry and wow, they're awesome. I put one on the back of my conch and you can like... totally not tell that it's there if you just glance. It's not like you can see my skin, it just kind of blends in better than the black.
Sorry, I'm not sure where to get them. They just come with my jewelry and I don't lose them... although I did buy a bunch from my piercer before I left for Germany just in case.

Duh. You're good.
Why I couldn't find that page, I don't know. But thanks a ton, Bird, and time to pre-order to prepare for when I start switching jewelries and whatnots. I think 100 should last me quite the while, no? Flippin' sweet. This store rocks, they've got everything.

I'm just too lazy to look. *
And man, 100 o-rings??
iamblackbird

Seriously, the way that Ria and I lose orings, 100 between the two of us would last about a month, maybe two if we were lucky.

Sad, but true. *And I'm wearing 2/4g 0rings on my 1g plugs, and 12g orings on my 8g plugs. *AND I'M STILL LOSING THEM!!!
They've stopped coming off in my sleep, now... *knock on wood* *I did it every night for over a week though...lets just hope it doesn't start back up.
I swear it's the gremlins...

i would suggest going to your local hardware store and picking up a set of o-rings, you can get a set with about 30 or so of each size. from extremely small, to very large as in a few inchs. i remember i looked at one when i did construction back in the day. wouldnt think it would cost more that 30$ which is great value if you think about how you get a couple hundred o-rings in many different sizes.

I would buy the clear ones. but if they came in smaller amounts. maybe PP could do a sort of mixed bag kinda thing?

No kidding! *I want glowy hair!!!
I'm considering getting clear, but I really like black o-rings. *Idunno, too many choices! **lol*
The o-rings are so cheap from PP, it doesn't really matter that you have to buy sizes seperately, I'll go through them super-fast anyway. *Especially since Bird will steal half! *lol*
Yeah, I'm going to talk to Marc, I'll see if he will start selling a combo-pack, it seems like it would be a good-selling item.

Tragically, he says that packages of 50 (or even less) would cost more than the packages of 100, because they would have to seperate and count them , and it would take too much time/effort/money.

My hair glows under black light because of the dye I use in it. It's a UV hairdye. Funny story...
I didn't know it glowed the first time I dyed my hair, and I went to a show that had black lights in one corner, and my friend burst out laughing because my pink hair was glowing very very brightly.

That's awesome Buzz! I've been dying my hair, just never tried it out under blacklights. It's UV? What's the special ingredient?

Ria, they sell it at Hot Topic, I think, and the Manic Panic brand has some.
