hello

hello everyone. its nice to finally find a forum that has posts worth looking at. well my name is neiko(not really but thats what i go by). i have only a couple of peircings at this time(nipples and ears gauged to 5/8ths). umm i want to get my septum pierced but my boyfreind detest septum piercings. he loves everything else though. i keep on telling him that it wont look bad and if it does i can take it out. umm my question is.. what gauge should i piece it at . i want the jewelry to be small enough to be hidden from plain view but large enough to see up close. any suggestions on gauge and jewelry. also i live in tampa,fl does anyone know of a good piercing shop to get a septum done at?

first off, changinng fonts, colours, glow etc. is saved strictly for the mods. Please re-read the forum rules and you'll see that.

Secondly, a professional piercer will know the right jewelry gauge and what not.

Thirdly, to find a good shop what I do is I use the information on this site sort of as a checklist (me being nerdy me made a checklist) you can find it . At the top of the page you'll see a tab labelled "body piercing info., scroll down to choosing a piercer, and thats a good start. And it's always good to listen to your gut. if it's telling you it's not comfortable with the shop, look at a different place.

not a problem.
septums can be done with septum retainers, so that they can be flipped down to be visible, flipped up to be hidden. *Typically 14g is used, but it depends on the piercer. *If you want to be able to hide it, 14g is your best bet.

yea thats what i was going for. its not that i want to hide it i just dont want it to be to big im a small girl you know it will kindof look bad if its too big. thank you for the repleys though

yea i know im going to get .no boyfreind has every stop me from any bodmod. im in love with modification to much. im going to get it he just begs me not to even though he knows begging wont work when it comes to mods.

Even if you're small, 14g won't be too large or over-power your face. *It's a small gauge, so I think it would be perfect for what you're wanting. *:)
