I was wondering if it was true that after a while you lose the feeling in your clit if you get it pierced? That would suck so I havent ventured out to get one yet!

No that shouldn't be true at all......
From what I hear it is actually sometimes more sensative.
But I know someone who is more experienced in this tell you for sure :)

Some women do become accustomed to the sensation of the jewelry and thus experience a type of "desensitizing". Usually, all you have to do is change your jewelry to another style or stretch it up one gauge to regain the sensation.
It's never anything that is not reversible or curable by taking the jewelry out.

also, please note that very few women can actually get their CLIT itself pierced. more often, they get a clitoral hood piercing, either vertical (VCH) or horizontal (HCH).
for most, it is more stimulating (at the worst, it stays the same), though eventually it can become "used" to the jewelry...all you have to do is take the jewelry out for a couple hours, and put it back in, and voila, you've got the increased sensation again.
the hood piercings heal very quicky 4-8 weeks, and all sexual/oral contact needs to be protected- condom, etc, to protect the piercing. but they heal very quickly and only need a minimum of aftercare. but they ROCK.

I went yesterday and got my clit pierced, the piercer told me to use very diluted hibiclens to wash it with for two weeks, however on the back of the hibiclens bottle it says do not use on genitals, I went ahead and used it very diluted one drop per 1/2 cup of water) like she said to, and I'm wondering if I should continue to use it, or is there something better suited for aftercare of this piercing?

OK if it says on the bottle "Not for use on genitals" then do not use it on your genitals! It's obviously there for a reason. I don't have a geintal piercing, but from what I've been told, they don't really require much because that area is very self-cleaning. Ria will come along and tell you the best way to take care of it.
Question. Did you get your actual CLIT pierced or did you get your HOOD pierced? Because a lot of people say they have their clit pierced when actually they have a vertical or horizontal HOOD piercing.

I was curious if you experienced this personally, or if this is what you have been told by other people....I was warned about the possible desensitizing from getting my clit pierced, and went ahead and got it pierced yesterday anyway. I am very happy with it so far, and cannot wait until it is good and healed to try it out. lol

It is an actual clit piercing, I held the hood out of the way for her while she was doing it.... I will be happy to post some pictures, if we can, after I take some. I would like the swelling to go down first. :)

yes, it is fact that if you take it out you will kind of reset the stimulation once you put it back in.

Like a reset button! *giggles*
The piercing of the actual clitoris interests me. I'm not built for one, so I can't try it, but I've wondered about the whole experience of it.

Oi. *I'm glad I'm not built for it...I don't like the thought of a needle going through it!!! *I'm still trying to get my brain past the fact that I want a triangle.

As much as I move around, a triangle would just be...well....heh. We'll just leave it at that.
Hence the reason I can't have certain genital piercings...poo.
But I wonder about the clitoris piercing. How was yours done, clamped or freehand?
