i've seen continuous, non CBR hoops on other sites, but i haven't seen them on PP... and i prefer to order from PP! i'm not fond of CBRs for my nostril for those occasions when i want to wear a hoop. i know i can just turn the bead into my nostril, but i have very small nasal passages and it actually makes me feel like i have a stuffy nose. the segment hoops offered on PP seem to only come as small as 12g -- way too big for my nostril!

i'd also like to find an orange ball nose screw...

I've never seen a segment ring in 18 or 20g, which is what nostril piercings "usually" are. *They usually start at 14g or so.

You can possibly look into seamless rings, though they're not actually seamless, and you'd have to be careful not to get the "seam" into the piercing, or that part of the piercing could close...

But, honestly, I hate seamless rings, they just don't actually close like they're supposed to, and they are quite painful when the "seam" rotates through the piercing...even on a very healed lobe piercing. *I would NEVER want to put one in a nostril piercing for several reasons (the fact that nostril piercing usually close quickly is not good news when there's a possibility that an open space could rotate into the piercing : the pain of the seam rotating through the piercing : the fact that they don't close properly).

So, even if you found one on another site, I wouldn't recommend buying it. *Honestly, they're just really second-rate body jewelry, which is not something you want for your piercings.

Have you considered getting a REALLY small ball to put on your cbr? that would definitely free up more room in your nose, and they come pretty tiny. *You could either order a new cbr with a really small ball (best bet) or just order a new tiny ball and close your CBR onto it, but I don't recommend that if there's a big difference in ball size, since it would change the shape of the ring.

PP has some REALLY tiny balls in the replacement balls section, and on their 20/18g rings, so you might want to just look at that option. *But, if you get really tiny balls, order a few extras, because they're a lot easier to lose!

and actually, seamless rings aren't truely "seamless".....if you look, there's a seam that you cen SEE...and if you can see it, you can bet that you can feel it.

Yeh, but I said it better. ;)

Kidding.

Seamless rings weird me out. They remind me of jump rings, which hold the charm onto a necklace.

thanks for the info... i thought about the tiny balls for the CBRs, but my nasal pasage is SOOOOO small that the slightest obstruction blocks it -- if my nose screw twists the wrong way, i can't breathe out of that nostril ... and that's an 18g!

i only want a hoop to wear for short periods of time, not all the time, but not being able to breathe out of one side of my nose is not something i'd enjoy. :(

but, i don't know for sure what i'm going to do. i'd like the option of wearing a hoop occasionally, but i just really hate the way CBRs look on me if the ball is visible.

maybe i should invent a new option... maybe that's my "million dollar idea"! ;)
