so i tok out my curved barbells and put in horseshoes. and now theres that red line on both and a bump on one. . my question is since they are migrating do i have to take them out. and are there any types of jewelry that i can put in that will help stop the migration?

First off, why did you change them?

Secondly, there isn't really anything that you can put in that will stop migration, really. Titanium is light, as is PTFE, but I'm betting that your piercings are migrating due to the fact that you changed the jewelry.

First, were they finished healing when you changed the jewelry? (how long has it been since you got them pierced)

I'd say put back in the barbell, or get a titanium barbell, or ptfe, to see if lighter jewelry will help.

However, there's nothing you can do to really stop it...if it's going to stop, it will...otherwise, if they migrate too far and start to reject, you may have to remove them.

Change them back, then LEAVE THEM ALONE except for aftercare.

if it migrates too far, take them out. do not wait untill the skin almost pushes them out to accept your fate because then you have half an inch of scar tissue for the rest of your life. believe me from personal experience, its much easier to take them out and redo them than to have two big scars on your body forever
