Removing my septum for work, do I need a retainar?

    Removing my septum for work, do I need a retainar?

    Or can I have the fistula without anything in it for an 8hrs without it closing up? i figured I would just pop my ring in while leaving from work. Retainers are a nuisance and more uncomfortable than the actual jewelery IMO

    You could try testing it. Take it out for an hour and reinsert. If that goes well try for 2 hours the next day... and so on. If you make 8 hours then great, but if not you will probably need a retainer.

    Ok I guess i'll just try and see how long I can leave it out
