    \Hey everyone,

I got my piercing 2 weeks ago. The first 3-4 days were fine. It started getting red on the 5th day, and has gotten more red over time. There's also a little swelling starting under the top part. I'm not sure if it is infected, or if it's simply irritated. I think the bar may also be a little smaller than it is supposed to be. Honestly, I'm scared because I saw a bunch of pictures online and I think it might be a keloid.

I have been cleaning it 2-3x a day with a salt water solution (unionized salt), and I use Dial antibacterial soap on it in the shower.

Please let me know what you think it is, and what you feel my next steps should be based on your experience.

update- there was some white pus noticed today

Your bar looks too short. The ball has pressed against the skin and caused a pressure wound. To halt the problem and avoid an infection you need a longer bar. Please see your piercer.
