Male nipple piercing placement/correction

Hello piercing aficionado's, I come to you hoping someone can give a little feedback on my recent nipple piercing, specifically regarding placement - I think the placement is off and want to know my options...

I got the piercing a week ago while abroad. I hadn't done much research into nipple piercings beforehand, safe to say it was a relatively spur of the moment decision.

After a weeks' healing I don't think I'm happy with the placement. I know I've got very small nipples but it looks to me like it enters on the areola and exits at the base of the nipple, making it look uneven and makes my nipple look "saggy". Also it's a bit crooked.

Hoping to get some opinions on whether I have unrealistic expectations or if a piercer in Dublin would do a better job of it when I'm home.

If so what should I do? Take it out now and let it start healing with a view to getting it redone at home, or leave it in and go see a piercer when I'm home in two weeks to see what they think.

Appreciate any help anyone pitches in with!

To keep out unwanted spam messages, all new members must have their first 3 messages approved (vetted) by the moderators before they can post freely.

The forum has undergone some recent changes. Many were for the good, but it also introduced a bug. When an unvetted member posts to an existing discussion, it does not show up as other posts do. If a fully vetted member posts, the section they post in is highlighted and the thread list has a green dot next to the thread they post in. Also if you click on "new posts" it will show up in the list. Unvetted members do not show at all. The only time an unvetted members post show is if they create a new thread and even then it's not very easy to find. PP is working on getting this fixed, but it may take some time.

If you post to the forum for help and you don't get a reply you are not being ignored. Please send a private message and include a thread link.

Your nipple does look a little off. The only real fix is to take it out, let it heal and repierce.

Nipples are great things. Both men and women have them and when stimulated they can rise and elongate. The problem is the tissues don't always do that equally. Your nipples may have been aroused prior to piercing and looked fine when they were pierced and now look a bit odd when not aroused. If you get it repierced, be careful about this and your results could turn out better.
